This place is take out only or sit down on one of the 3 tables provided. It was my first time here and I was super happy with the quality and taste! I got the salmon bowl and i was pretty content with the amount of food that was in it. I could eat 2 of those, but summer is around the corner so... portion control? Lol! Highly recommend the bowls + a la carte other sushi pieces!

The best Chirashi Bowl I've ever had in Southern California. Delicious fish, fresh wasabi and fragrant aromatics. Staff is amazing and friendly. Currently only available for takeout orders. Wonderful experience!

This place is a hidden gem! It is take-out only, although there are a couple of tables inside if you prefer to eat there. The sushi and sashimi are the best I've ever had. Kazumi and Shelly are incredibly sweet and truly experts in their craft. Highly recommend!!

OMG! I don't know why we didn't know about this place earlier. My husband wanted to get sushi and noticed that this place is 2nd highest rating on Yelp for sushi. Of course, we called and made our orders for pick up. Plenty of parking outside. Be mindful, this isn't a sit-down restaurant. I didn't mind ordering take out. Our family got the Chirashi, Hokkaido & Salmon bowls. The taste of the fish was so smooth and melted in your mouth. It brought me back memories of being in Japan again. Yes, there are several Japanese restaurants here on the mainland, but this was the only place that truly tasted delicious. Thank you to the chef for our wonderful lunch! My family member who had the Chirashi bowl, thoroughly enjoyed the different selection of salmon, yellow tail, snapper, albacore, Ikura salmon roe, Masago, shrimp, egg, imitation crab, cucumber, octopus on a bed of rice, but he wasn't keen on the squid. The rest of my family devoured their Hokkaido bowl with Japanese scallop, Ikura salmon roe, 3 pc of salmon, 3 pc of seared salmon, imitation crab, Masago & cucumbers on a bed of rice. I thoroughly enjoyed my salmon mix bowl with salmon, seared salmon, Ikura salmon roe, imitation crab, Masago and cucumber on a bed of rice with seaweed flakes. We're definitely ordering ahead for Valentine's Day to get the Sashimi platter to go. Wonderful sushi restaurant that reminds us of Japan.

Take out only place but it does have a tiny area for seating. Most people call ahead since the wait time can take a while. I usually order a Nigiri special for dinner ($20.50) and then get a boba in the same plaza. The staff is nice and attentive; the place is clean, they have a small area of Japanese snacks or ingredients for sale near the register. The sushi is super fresh and not Americanized with lots of creamy sauces drizzled on top of the rolls. Not heavy handed with the rice portion and the fish is nicely thick and seasoned well. The parking lot can get packed with the 24 Hour Fitness gym in the same plaza. Closed Mondays.

Absolutely delectable & affordable, can't wait to come here again. Just as a reminder, they are closed between 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM .

You know when a food spot opens only for a few hours a day and has this high of ratings and is only TAKEOUT... it is a signal that I have to come try it out myself. There was no wait on a weekday. We went in and ordered and waited about 10 min for our food. Staff was super sweet and I think they're actually from Japan! I got the Hokkaido bowl, so if you like salmon and scallop, this bowl is for you. Totally just melts in your house and price point of $22 is really good for a bowl this quality. Can we talk about the RICEEEE tho I finished every single piece of rice and fish in this dish, it really brought me back to Japan. Can't wait to come back!

I think I already wrote a review but I decided to revisit after sometime and I'd like to say that the quality is just the same if not better! This is a prime example of don't judge a book by its cover because you wouldn't expect to find top tier quality sushi in this area. Unlike most sushi restaurants, this one is primarily takeout. Please be sure to place an order before hand so that you can have your order ready before you arrive. The restaurant seems to be run by family who put their all into their craft to satisfy their customers. This is definitely evident in their food and their service. I find myself ordering the platters very often and I would say they are fairly priced. Some of the other hits are the chirashi bowls and some daily specials. They also have other Japanese goods available to purchase in the restaurant.
